Come join Hawaiian Outrigger Experience (H.O.E.) for amazing tours on a Traditional Outrigger Canoe!!! Experience a truly unique cultural tour as you learn the ancient art and sport of canoe paddling (hoe wa'a). Relive a part of traditional Hawai‘i as you learn about Honu(turtles), Kohola(whales) and other indigenous ocean life through Hawaiian legends, mythology and stories passed on through generations. As you glide along the ocean surface, feel the rhythm of the sea and experience all the glory, beauty and magnificence this island paradise has to offer. Pull your kids away from the pool (and your spouse away from the spa / golf course) and create a family memory that will last long after your tan fades. Your front row seat and eye level journey departs Wailea Beach on South Maui.
Hawaiian Culture & Turtle Tour:

Paddle our canoe to Turtletown off Wailea Point and catch sight of the honu and honu‘ea (Hawaiian Green Sea & Hawksbill Turtles) that frequent this beautiful area! Swim with the turtles if you’d like or watch as they swim alongside the canoe!
Whale Tour (Dec-April):

Price and Duration: $150 per person/1.5 hour tour

During the months from November to April, the Humpback Whales travel 3,500 miles from their feeding grounds in Alaska to mate and give birth in the Hawaiian Islands. A majority of these beautiful humpback whales can be seen off the coastline of Maui. With Haleakala, Molokini, Kaho‘olawe, Lana‘i and West Maui Mountains as your backdrop, come behold the magnificent Kohola (whales) as they spy hop, tail slap, fin slap and breach.
Snorkel Tour:

Price and Duration: $150 per person/1.5 hour tour

Age: 5 and up
Come experience the abundant sea life and magnificent coral-sea gardens just minutes from shore. Swim and snorkel with turtles and species of fish indigenous only to these islands.
Guests should bring: Towel, swim attire, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera (underwater/waterproof cameras are recommended).
Any belongings carried inside the canoe could become wet. Private charters can be customized, limited only by your imagination. Please call in advance for all private charters to ensure availability. 24 hour advanced cancellation required for refund. All tours are contingent on safe weather conditions.
